Can't Freakin' Wait

It's a hot Saturday night here in Philly, filled with sexyfun things like capital leases (oooh!) and income tax accounting (ahhhh!). To say I'm looking forward to my Wednesday morning flight to Florida would be absolutely incorrect. In fact, I wish I could remain in finals purgatory for at least another few agonizing weeks. That would be so neat, like the time when Nicole Richie drove the wrong direction on the 134 freeway without killing anyone. *sigh*

Lots has been going on. In addition to tests, thus far featuring the clever Ethics department and their Star Trek themed take-home final (oh, you guys!) and the Mizzling Pizzles at Wizzle final whose degree of difficulty had me doing b.s. backflips for two hours straight...they really lull you into complacency with all the attaboys and trust circling and then smack you right in the face with that final....but everybody gets a B at Wharton anyway, so no big. Now I have the dreaded OPIM and ACCOUNTING finals to look forward to Monday and Tuesday. I think "sweet, sweet Venus" pretty much sums it up.

In other news, the first script read-through by the Follies cast for the writers, producers, and tech crew went very well. Now we just need to add jokes. I also auditioned for my potential roles in the show itself, which went less well due to a late night and good times with my grrrlz last night that left me with no showtunes voice. Ah, the sacrifices of school are seemingly endless.

I also had my marathon phone interview (three, actually) with Apple on Thursday. They went pretty well I think, though phone interviews are not ideal...I would really love to get this job as it pretty much fills all my requirements and more, but I also submitted my resume for ten other pretty cool internships during this week's first resume drop so life will go on if Apple rejects me. I really hope they don't, though!

Other than that, I just can't freakin' wait to see my husband for two weeks and to chill with my family!!! Stay sweet over the break.
